In June 2017, domestic orders increased by 5.1% while foreign orders decreased by 2.0% on the previous month. New orders from the euro area were down 2.4%, new orders from other countries decreased 1.5% compared to May 2017. In June 2017 the manufacturers of intermediate goods saw new orders rise by 3.7% compared with May 2017. The manufacturers of capital goods showed decreases of 0.8% on the previous month. For consumer goods, an increase in new orders of 2.3% was recorded.
