The following states and territories rose in trend terms in June 2017: New South Wales (0.5%), Victoria (0.5%), Queensland (0.2%), South Australia (0.4%), Tasmania (0.7%), Western Australia (0.1%), the Australian Capital Territory (0.5%), and the Northern Territory (0.2%).
Australian Retail Sales rose by 0.3%
The trend estimate rose 0.4% in June 2017. This follows a rise of 0.4% in May 2017 and a rise of 0.4% in April 2017. The seasonally adjusted estimate rose 0.3% in June 2017. This follows a rise of 0.6% in May 2017 and a rise of 1.0% in April 2017. In trend terms, Australian turnover rose 3.6% in June 2017 compared with June 2016.
