Eurozone Final CPI at 1.3%
Euro area annual inflation was 1.3% in June 2017, down from 1.4% in May. In June 2016 the rate was 0.1%. European Union annual inflation was 1.4% in June 2017, down from 1.6% in May. A year earlier the rate was 0.1%. These figures come from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.

U.S. CPI unchanged in June
The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) was unchanged in June on a seasonally adjusted basis, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all items index rose 1.6 percent. The energy index declined again in June, falling 1.6 percent; this offset an increase in the index for all items less food and energy. All the major energy component indexes declined, with the gasoline index falling 2.8 percent. The food index was unchanged in June, with the index for food at home declining slightly as five of the six major grocery store food group indexes decreased.

China's CPI unchanged in June
Broad measures of Chinese inflation were unchanged last month, as both consumer and factory-gate prices expanded at a slower but steady pace. The National Bureau of Statistics reported that the June consumer price index (CPI) advanced 1.5%, following an identical increase the previous month. Compared to May, consumer prices were down 0.1%, official data showed.

Eurozone CPI increased by 1.3%
Euro area annual inflation is expected to be 1.3% in June 2017, down from 1.4% in May 2017, according to a flash estimate from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. Looking at the main components of euro area inflation, energy is expected to have the highest annual rate in June (1.9%, compared with 4.5% in May), followed by services (1.6%, compared with 1.3% in May), food, alcohol & tobacco (1.4%, compared with 1.5% in May) and non-energy industrial goods (0.4%, compared with 0.3% in May).
