UK Unemployment Rate fell to 5.2%

For November 2015 there were 796,200 people claiming unemployment related benefits. This was 3,900 more than for October 2015. Analysts were anticipating increase by 900. Australia recorded biggest monthly job gains in almost 28 years

Australian employers recorded the biggest back-to-back monthly job gains in almost 28 years, sending the currency soaring by almost a U.S. cent while renewing doubts about the veracity of the data. Employment rose 71,400 from October; economists forecast 10,000 drop. Jobless rate dropped to 5.8% from 5.9%; economists predicted 6%. Full-time jobs rose by 41,600; part-time employment increased by 29,700. Participation rate, a measure of labor force in proportion to the population, rose to 65.3%; economists predicted 65%.

Payrolls advanced by 211,000

USD was pushed higher after 211,000 increase in payrolls which followed a 298,000 gain in October that was bigger than previously estimated, a Labor Department report showed Friday. The median forecast called for a 201,000 advance. The jobless rate held at a more than seven-year low of 5%.

Eurozone Unemployment Rate fell to 10.7%

The euro area (EA19) seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 10.7% in October 2015, down from 10.8% in September 2015, and from 11.5% in October 2014. No change was expected.This is the lowest rate recorded in the euro area since January 2012. The EU28 unemployment rate was 9.3% in October 2015, stable compared to September 2015, and down from 10.1% in October 2014.
