From Eurozone, yesterday, Italian Industrial Production figures were released. In May 2017 the seasonally adjusted industrial production index increased by 0.7% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the last three months with respect to the previous three months was +0.2. The calendar adjusted industrial production index increased by 2.8% compared with May 2016 (calendar working days in May 2017 being the same as in May 2016); in the period January-May 2017 the percentage change was +1.7 compared with the same period of 2016. he unadjusted industrial production index increased by 2.8% compared with May 2016.

In the US session JOLTS Job Openings figures were released.The number of job openings  decreased to 5.7 million on the last business day of May, the U.S. Bureau  of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the month, hires increased to 5.5 million and separations increased to 5.3 million. Within separations, the quits rate was little changed at 2.2 percent and the layoffs and discharges rate was unchanged at 1.1 percent. This release includes estimates of the number and rate of job openings, hires, and separations for the nonfarm sector by industry and by four geographic regions.

 

From Eurozone tomorrow, Industrial Production figures will be released. Analysts predict increase by 1.0%. US session will be marked by Janet Yellen's testimony on the Semiannual Monetary Policy Report before the House Financial Services Committee.
