Output increased in all branches. It grew markedly in “other manufacturing” (+1.3%), in the manufacture of machinery and equipment goods (+2.5%) and more moderately in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+0.6%). It bounced back in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+9.6%). Finally, it increased slightly in the manufacture of transport equipment (+0.4%) and in mining and quarrying, energy, water supply (+0.3%).
French Industrial Production fell by 1.1%
In June 2017, output fell back in the manufacturing industry (−0.9% after +2.0% in May), as well as in the whole industry (−1.1% after +1.9%).
