The number of unemployed registered in the offices of the Public Employment Services State has fallen in May in 111,908 people in relation to the previous month. In the last eight years registered unemployment had declined on average, in this same month, to 82,000 people. Thus, the total number of unemployed registered in the month of May stands at 3,461,128.
For the fourth consecutive year unemployment in May fell by more than 110,000 people. In seasonally adjusted terms unemployment is reduced in May in 39,566 people. It is the largest reduction of the entire historical series in a month of May.
