Spanish unemployment fell by 129,300

The number of unemployed registered in the offices of the Public Employment Services State has decreased in April by 129,281 people in relation to the previous month, which is the largest reduction in unemployment recorded in the entire historical series in any month. On average, it had fallen in the month of April in the last 8 years by 51,794 people.

In this way the total number of unemployed registered in the month of April stands at 3,573,036. In seasonally adjusted terms unemployment has fallen by 70,777 people, also the largest reduction in the historical series, regardless of the month.
