There are no major data releases from Eurozone today, with traders being more focused on political factors. Angela Merkel on Sunday confirmed to stand for 4th term as German chancellor in 2017. Merkel is seen as bastion of EU amid growing populist politics within Europe. François Fillon won Republican primary; unpopular Nicholas Sarkozy is out. Fillon is to face centrist Alain Juppe in Republican run-off. Winner will have to face anti-EU National Front leader's Marine Le Pen in presidential race.

Monthly BundesBank Report showed that industrial output could support GDP more strongly and that underlying German cyclical momentum is quite strong. Monetary indicators don't show the need for more action. This last comment is probably a nod to the ECB.

Euro is currently being traded around 1.0630 level. Pair is likely to find support around 1.0580 area and resistance above 1.0670 handle.
