Euro area annual
inflation is expected to be 0.1% in June 2016, up from -0.1% in May 2016, according to a flash
estimate from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. Analysts were predicting increase to 0.0%.
Looking at the main components of euro area inflation, services is expected to have the highest annual rate in June (1.1%, compared with 1.0% in May), followed by food, alcohol & tobacco (0.9%, stable compared with May),
non-energy industrial goods (0.4%, compared with 0.5% in May) and energy (-6.5%, compared with -8.1% in May).
Euro is currently being traded few points below 1.11 level. Pair is likely to find support around 1.1050 handle and resistance above 1.1150 level.
