Australia’s unemployment rate remained unchanged last month, official data showed on Thursday. In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian unemployment rate remained unchanged at a seasonally adjusted 5.7%, from 5.7% in the preceding month. Analysts had expected Australian unemployment rate to remain unchanged at 5.7% last month.

Australian employment change rose more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Thursday. In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian employment change rose to a seasonally adjusted 17.9K, from 10.8K in the preceding month. Analysts had expected Australian employment change to rise 15.0K last month.

Aussie is currently being traded few points above 0.7380 level. Pair is likely to find support around 0.7330 handle and resistance above 0.7450 level. Later today, In the US session, CPI, Unemployment Claims and Philly Fed Manufacturing Index figures are scheduled for a release.
