According to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), retail turnover in September 2015 in Germany increased 3.4% in real terms and 3.2% in nominal terms compared with the corresponding month of the previous year. When adjusted for calendar and seasonal variations, the September turnover was in real terms equal to that (0.0%) and in nominal terms 0.1% smaller than that in August 2015. 0.4% increase was expected.

GDP showed that
Gross Domestic Product generated by the Spanish economy registered a variation of 0.8% in the third quarter of 2015 compared to previous quarter, according to the quarterly GDP advance estimate.
Analysts were anticipating 0.9% increase. This rate is two points lower than that recorded in the previous quarter (1.0%) tenths.
Euro is currently being traded around 1.10 handle. Pair is likely to find support at 1.0950 area and resistance above 1.1050 level. Later today, in the US session, Employment Cost Index figures are scheduled for a release.
