In July 2015, production in industry in Germany was up by 0.7% from the previous month on a price, missing forecasts on increase by 1.2%. In June 2015, the corrected figure shows a decrease of 0.9% (primary –1.4%) from May 2015.
In July 2015, production in industry excluding energy and construction was up by 0.3%. Within industry, the production of capital goods increased by 2.8%, whereas the production of intermediate goods was down by 0.8% and of consumer goods by –3.7%. Energy production was up by 1.9% in July 2015, while the production in construction increased by 3.2%.
Euro is currently being traded few points above 1.1160 level. Pair is likely to find support around 1.11 handle and resistance above 1.1180 area. There will be no major data releases in the rest of the session.
