The number of unemployed registered at the offices of the Public Employment Services has dropped in June by 94 727 people. Analysts were forecasting larger decrease by 129,300. This is the fifth consecutive month of declines. In the past seven years, unemployment had declined on average in the month of June in 74,000 people.
In the past 12 months, registered unemployment has decreased by 329 397 people, with an annual reduction rate which stands at 7.4%. With this decline, the total number of unemployed stood at 4,120,304 people, the lowest since August 2011. There are 302 055 registered unemployed less than in December 2011.
