There are no data releases from Eurozone today, however, single currency is still being moved by any comments regarding Greek debt crisis. ECB member Noyer said today that ECB aid for Greece can not continue indefinitely. Greek Prime Minister Tsipras reshuffled his team handling talks with European and IMF lenders, a move widely seen as an effort to relegate embattled Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis to a less active role in negotiations.
The situation still remained murky with Greek Prime Minister Tsipras also saying the government’s top priority was to pay wages and pensions, subsequently adding that defaulting on debt was not an option either. Euro still remains higher which indicates that deal could be made before Greece runs out of money.
Euro is currently being traded few points above 1.0870 level. Pair is likely to find support around 1.0820 area and resistance above 1.09 level. Later today, in the US session, CB Consumer Confidence figures are scheduled for a release.
