From Eurozone, on Friday, only minor importance German Trade Balance an French Industrial Production figures being released. Germany exported goods to the value of 99.5 billion euros and imported goods to the value of 79.3 billion euros in February 2016. Based on provisional data, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that German exports increased by 4.1% and imports by 4.0% in February 2016 year on year. After calendar and seasonal adjustment, exports increased by 1.3% and imports by 0.4% compared with January 2016. In calendar and seasonally adjusted terms, the foreign trade balance recorded a surplus of 19.8 billion euros in February 2016.
In February 2016, output fell back in the French manufacturing industry (-0.9% after +0.4% in January), as well as in the industry as a whole (-1.0% after +1.0% in January). Over the last three months, output was virtually stable in the manufacturing sector (-0.1% q-o-q), but diminished in the overall industry (-0.7%). Manufacturing output of the last three months improved compared to the same months of the previous year (+1.5%, y-o-y). Overall industrial output also increased (+0.6% y-o-y).
There will be no major data releases both from Eurozone and the USA on Monday , so we can expect a bit steadier session.
